WRITTEN WALKTHROUGH

Complete the workflow step by step.

01

Open the Project Notes Desk

In Proposal Center, scroll to Project Notes Desk beneath the customer and project information. Choose New Note to create a separate working card inside the shared notes block.

Why this mattersEach card behaves like its own notepad-sized workspace without forcing you to manage separate browser tabs or files.

02

Give the note a unique title

Enter a short, specific title such as Warehouse Walkthrough, Camera Counts or Waiting on Electrical. Proposal Center prevents duplicate titles in the same company workspace.

Why this mattersUnique titles make notes recognizable when several customers and projects are active at the same time.

03

Find and link the customer

Use the customer search inside the note. Search by customer name, company or email, then select the correct result. The linked customer appears after the title with a dash.

Why this mattersThe visible customer link keeps measurements, decisions and follow-up details connected to the right relationship.

04

Write and format the working note

Use the large note field for scope reminders, field measurements, open questions and customer decisions. Choose the text size and color that make the card easy to scan.

Why this mattersAdjustable text and color coding help separate urgent tasks, technical details, pricing questions and customer communication.

05

Reorder, collapse and save

Drag cards into your preferred order, collapse notes that are not currently needed and choose Save Note. Account notes persist to the company workspace; demo notes remain on the current device.

Why this mattersThe desk stays compact while preserving the working order and details you need when returning to the proposal.
