Frame the correct property area

Zoom up to 10× and adjust horizontal and vertical focus until the building, parking or exterior area needed for the design is centered.

Why this mattersPlan Studio recalculates the visible width and height from the selected focus so route estimates remain tied to what is actually shown.

Separate the working features

Review the generated black-and-white baseline and distinguish the building outline, parking areas, drives and perimeter boundaries.

Why this mattersReduced visual noise makes cameras, antennas, access devices and pathways easier to read than a full-color satellite image.

Calibrate with a known distance

When a precise field measurement is available, compare it with the estimated plan dimension and adjust the full-plan width or height.

Why this mattersSatellite-derived measurements are useful estimates, but a verified wall, aisle or property dimension improves cable takeoffs.

Save the baseline

Name the site reference, save the draft and continue to equipment placement.
